Registered Care Home Manager – Family-Run Nursing Home
Location: Tadworth, Surrey
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time | Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead a medium-sized nursing home in Tadworth, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, family-run provider with a growing portfolio of homes and strong operational support in place.

The home benefits from a Good CQC rating and an excellent resident/family review rating, reflecting the high standards of care and positive reputation already established within the service.

This role would suit either an experienced Home Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. As Registered Care Home Manager, you will ensure the home delivers high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong operational performance, team development, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership and day-to-day operational management
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the staff team
  • Maintain high standards of care and resident experience
  • Support occupancy growth and oversee assessments for prospective residents
  • Manage staffing levels effectively while maintaining zero agency usage
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture throughout the home

Requirements:

  • Experience managing within a nursing home setting
  • Open to experienced Deputy Managers seeking progression
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of CQC standards and compliance
  • Adaptable, resilient, and hands-on approach
  • A genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
  • Nurse qualification not essential
