Accrington | 36 bed home
£45,000 to £55,000
You’ll have the autonomy to shape the future of a growing care home while building a long-term leadership career within an ambitious care group.
This is more than a day-to-day management role. You’ll play a key part in commissioning, service development, and growing a quality-led home that genuinely puts residents first. With direct input into decision-making and the opportunity to influence the direction of the service, you’ll have the freedom to lead in a way that reflects your values and experience.
As the group continues to expand, this role offers genuine progression and the chance to grow alongside the organisation. This is already their second home, with a third in planning, making it an exciting time to join a provider that’s building for the future rather than standing still.
Why this role is different
You’ll be trusted to lead with autonomy, take ownership of the home’s growth, and build strong relationships across the local community. Whether that’s developing links with local authorities, supporting private residents and families, or creating a positive culture within the home, your voice and leadership will have a direct impact.
You’ll also have the opportunity to shape standards, improve occupancy, develop your team, and create a service you’re genuinely proud to put your name to.
The role
You’ll oversee a residential care home supporting older people, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered across every part of the service. Alongside maintaining compliance and operational standards, you’ll focus on creating a warm, welcoming environment for residents, families, and your team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where visibility, accountability, and relationship-building matter just as much as performance.
What you’ll do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the home with a strong focus on quality and resident experience
- Support commissioning, occupancy growth, and service development
- Build positive relationships with local authorities, professionals, residents, and families
- Create a positive culture where your team feels supported, motivated, and accountable
- Ensure the service remains compliant, inspection-ready, and focused on continuous improvement
What you’ll need
- At least 2 years’ experience managing a CQC-regulated care home
- Strong background supporting older people within residential or nursing care
- Confident understanding of CQC standards and quality-led care delivery
- A proactive leadership style with the ability to drive occupancy, standards, and team performance
- Passion for building a service that delivers outstanding care and long-term success
About the company
