We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a well-established 5-bed residential service in Huddersfield, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, Autism, and complex needs.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational performance are consistently maintained.

You will lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional support that promotes independence, choice, dignity, and positive outcomes for the people living within the home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the service.
  • Ensure compliance with all CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a stable and high-performing staff team.
  • Maintain person-centred support plans and risk assessments.
  • Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
  • Safeguard the welfare and wellbeing of residents at all times.
  • Ensure the service delivers outstanding outcomes and quality of life for the people it supports.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within adult social care.

  • Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, Autism, or complex behaviours.
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards if not already achieved).
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
