## Registered Manager — Job Description (6-Week Interim)
### Role Summary
An interim Registered Manager is required for a period of 6 weeks, supporting a timely turnaround and stabilization of services. The successful candidate will apply operations manager experience, bring higher level knowing of regulated care environments, and drive a structured approach to improving day-to-day operations, documentation, and compliance.
### Key Responsibilities
- Lead the service during a short-term turnaround period, ensuring continuity of care and operational stability.
- Use operations manager experience to oversee daily operations, service delivery, and performance.
- Support implementation of a new system, including bedding-related processes and improved working practices.
- Apply CQC knowledge and regulations to ensure compliance with expectations and evidence requirements.
- Maintain and strengthen structure across the service, including governance, routines, and accountability.
- Developing care plans: ensure care plans are accurate, person-centred, regularly reviewed, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Ensure documentation, record keeping, and audits are completed to a high standard and readily available for inspection.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to embed improvements and sustain positive outcomes beyond the interim period.
- Support planning and transition activities at the end of the 6-week interim assignment.
### Person Specification
Registered Manager / Registered Service Manager experience (or equivalent leadership experience within a regulated care setting). Demonstrable turn around experience in operational improvement and service stabilisation. Strong operations manager experience, including leading teams, monitoring performance, and driving change. Solid CQC knowledge and understanding of regulations and compliance requirements. Clear experience with developing care plans and ensuring quality of care documentation. Evidence of ability to start new system implementation and embed new processes. Higher level professional knowledge and judgement, with confidence in regulatory environments. Strong organisational skills and the ability to create and maintain structure rapidly under time constraints. Experience working in or with bedding / care environment-related operational processes is desirable (e.g., equipment, environment readiness, or care delivery workflows).### Qualifications (Essential)
Relevant care leadership qualification(s) and/or equivalent experience. Evidence of knowledge of the Care Quality Commission framework and regulatory standards.### Contract Details
