Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

They have a vacancy for a qualified electrician to cover the Nottingham, Leicester & Northampton area carrying out the wiring of renewables technologies within domestic social housing properties.

The Role:

  • Conduct periodic inspection, testing and certifications.
  • Installation of renewables systems such as Air Source Heat Pumps ensuring compliance and operational safety standards.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical failures and faults on systems.
  • Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
  • Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in renewables technology (essential).
  • 2 years’ experience as a qualified electrician
  • 18th edition Qualification
  • 2391 Test & Inspection or Equivalent
  • Part P is desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

The Package:

  • 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Overtime paid at an hourly rate.
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
  • Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (depend on experience)
