Temporary Resident Liaison Officer (RLO)
Location: Nottingham (NG9 area)
Duration: Approx. 14 weeks starting mid‑May
Rate: £18–£20 per hour
Type: Temporary / Contract
We’re looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a live retrofit project working in occupied residential properties. This is a people‑focused role, ideal for someone confident dealing with residents, managing communications, and supporting smooth project delivery on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the works
- Build positive relationships with tenants and leaseholders
- Coordinate and attend resident meetings, drop‑ins and information sessions
- Communicate project updates, timelines and access requirements clearly
- Log and manage resident enquiries, concerns and complaints
- Coordinate access for surveys, installations and follow‑up visits
- Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions
- Liaise closely with site and project teams to resolve issues promptly
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in resident liaison, housing, customer service or community engagement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident handling sensitive or challenging situations
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office and basic digital tools
- Flexible approach to working hours when required
- DBS in place or willingness to obtain one
