Salary: Base salary £29,034 – £35,400
Total Package: £36,274 – £42,640 per annum (including sleep-ins, allowances, and bonuses)

SEND Inclusion Support is working in partnership with a leading provider of specialist education and residential care for children and young people across the UK.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people. As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll support children through both challenges and achievements, helping them build confidence, resilience, and independence in a safe and nurturing environment.
The home supports young people with a range of additional needs, including social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, providing structured, therapeutic care focused on positive outcomes.
Role Overview
You will play a key role within a dedicated care team, supporting young people in their daily lives and helping to create a stable, supportive home environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support
- Building positive relationships with young people
- Supporting emotional and behavioural development
- Assisting with daily routines, activities, and education
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
- Maintaining a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
What’s on Offer
- Base Salary: £29,034 – £35,400
- Total Package: £36,274 – £42,640 per annum (based on good attendance and up to 4 sleep-ins per month)
- Bonuses & Allowances:
- Up to 4 sleep-ins per month paid at £80 per sleep (approx. £3,840 per year)
- £1,400 attendance allowance (subject to good attendance)
- £2,000 regional allowance
- £1,000 welcome bonus (upon successful completion of probation)
- £1,000 loyalty bonus (after 12 months of employment)

About You
- Experience working with children and young people in a residential or care setting
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
