I’m working with a market-leading advisory firm in the retail & leisure sector, looking to hire a Valuation Surveyor into their Birmingham team.
This is a role where you’ll step beyond traditional reporting and get involved in real, business-focused valuations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Valuing going concern businesses (petrol stations, convenience retail, leisure assets)
- Producing high-quality valuation reports
- Building relationships with banks, operators, accountants & investors
- Developing your own network and generating business
- Working alongside a national team of sector specialists
- Genuine autonomy – no micromanagement
- A well-known brand that opens doors
- Exposure to interesting, non-standard assets
- A mix of technical valuation + client-facing commercial work
- MRICS qualified
- Valuation experience (post-qualification preferred)
- Strong commercial awareness
- Confident, relationship-driven communicator
- Ambitious and proactive mindset
- £50,000 basic salary
