Workforce Controller / Resource Coordinator – Sizewell C

💰 £40,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance + Fuel Card + Tax-Free Subsistence

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the major delivery teams working on the Sizewell C project, one of the UK’s largest and most high-profile infrastructure developments.

The Geotechnical Sub Alliance (GSA) plays a critical role in preparing the site for construction works, delivering complex ground engineering solutions including piling, diaphragm walling, soil mixing, grouting and retaining structures using specialist equipment and advanced construction techniques.

Due to continued growth and project demands, we are looking to appoint a Workforce Controller / Resource Coordinator to support the effective coordination, deployment and management of frontline workers across the project.

The Role

Working closely with operational teams and senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring labour resources are effectively allocated across the project while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and supporting workforce performance and recruitment activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and allocate frontline workers across the Sizewell C project
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operational teams and Workforce Managers
  • Monitor workforce productivity and performance
  • Support mentoring and identification of future talent within the workforce
  • Assist with performance management processes including disciplinary matters
  • Support payroll and weekly timesheet approvals
  • Lead frontline workforce recruitment activities
  • Produce workforce reports, resource plans and future forecasting
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CIJC WRA updates and workforce legislation
  • Identify and implement improvements to workforce coordination processes
  • Ensure clear communication between operational teams and stakeholders
What We’re Looking ForEssential:
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with excellent prioritisation and time management abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of HR processes and workforce management
  • Proactive approach with drive, ambition and initiative
  • Good awareness of Health & Safety
Desirable:
  • Experience within construction, civil engineering or major infrastructure projects
  • Experience producing operational or workforce reports
  • Knowledge of workforce legislation and CIJC agreements
  • Relevant professional or technical qualifications

  • £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary
