Location: Paris, France – hybrid role (1 day a week in the office). Commutable from the West of Paris and from cities such as Rambouillet, Mantes-la-Jolie and Dreux. Possible relocation from Lyon, Grenoble, Lille, Rennes, Metz, Strasbourg, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Nantes.

A successful company and part of an international group, providing specialised equipment and products to a wide range of industries, from marine and aerospace to medical and agriculture. A leading international engineering and manufacturing organisation, they focus on motion control and mechanical component solutions, supporting customers with high-quality, technically advanced products and strong application expertise.
Main duties:
Drive territory growth through new OEM customer acquisition, aggressively expanding market share by identifying, targeting, and winning high-value manufacturing accounts. Act as a front-line hunter, developing long-term partnerships with OEMs and engineering teams while positioning the company as a preferred technical solutions provider.
The role:
- Own and develop a defined sales territory in France, with full accountability for new business generation and revenue growth.
- Identify, target, and win new OEM accounts, focusing on manufacturers requiring motion control and mechanical component solutions.
- Execute a proactive prospecting strategy (field visits, cold outreach, networking, industry events) to build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Penetrate key accounts by engaging engineering, procurement, and decision-makers to influence specifications and secure design-in opportunities.
- Drive solution-based sales, aligning technical product capabilities with OEM application needs.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including pricing strategy, margin control, and contract negotiation.
- Build and expand territory coverage, increasingshare within existing customers while prioritising new acquisitions.
- Deliver accurate pipeline forecasting and territory planning, maintaining high CRM discipline.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and OEM demand shifts to refine go-to-market strategy.
- Travel extensively across France to meet customers on-site, develop relationships, and uncover new opportunities (with occasional European travel).
The candidate:
- Proven track record as a hunter in B2B technical/industrial sales, with strong success in new business acquisition.
- Demonstrated experience selling into OEMs or manufacturing environments, ideally with design-in or application-based sales cycles.
- Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent hands-on technical sales experience.
- Ability to open doors, build pipelines from scratch, and close complex deals in competitive markets.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on margin, growth, and territory expansion.
- Confident engaging both technical stakeholders and commercial decision-makers.
- Highly autonomous, resilient, and driven, with a field-sales mindset.
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel extensively across territory.
The salary:
€58,000 per annum equivalent + 25% performance bonus + car allowance + benefits.
