Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across robotic and automated production equipment
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and controls faults to minimise downtime and maintain production output
- Support fault finding and bug fixing activities across PLCs, robotic systems and automated machinery
- Work on vision systems, controls and automation equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Assist with programming and fault diagnosis on PLC-controlled equipment and robotic cells
- Support installation, commissioning and optimisation of new automation and more technically advanced equipment coming into the business
- Work closely with production, controls and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
- Provide automation support to the wider maintenance team and assist with continuous improvement activities
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with health & safety and company procedures
Maintenance Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Well versed carrying out a similar Robot Maintenance Engineer role
- Strong fault finding and bug fixing experience within an automated manufacturing environment
- PLC bias with strong electrical fault-finding capability
- Experience working with robotic systems and automation equipment
