We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Operative / Roto Operator for a long-term contract on a National Grid substation project in Melksham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified operative with previous substation experience and the correct National Grid authorisations already in place.

Essential Requirements:

  • Roto Operator Ticket (360 Degree Slew) - Essential
  • National Grid Person - Essential
  • Manual Handling Certificate - Essential
  • Previous experience working on National Grid / live substation projects
  • Strong understanding of site safety procedures and working in high-voltage environments

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operating a 360 Degree Slew Roto safely and efficiently on site
  • Supporting ongoing M&E and infrastructure works within the substation environment
  • Assisting with material movement, lifting operations, and plant support duties as required
  • Working in line with RAMS, health & safety procedures, and site compliance standards
  • Supporting site teams to ensure works are delivered safely and to programme
