Salary: £35,500 basic + 22.6% shift uplift (£43,523 total package)
Location: Near Uxbridge (commutable from Denham, Slough, High Wycombe, Watford, Hayes, Harrow, Rickmansworth)
Hours: Double Day Shift
- Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00
- Week 2: 14:00 – 22:00

- Ability to pass BPSS clearance
Please note: employment cannot begin until clearance is completed, which can take up to 4 weeks.
About the Role
We’re supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer near Uxbridge who are looking to bring in a Rumbling / Vibratory Machine Operator to join their surface finishing team.
You’ll be working within a high-spec finishing plant, playing a key role in preparing and finishing safety-critical components used in aerospace systems.
This is a hands-on role where quality is everything — the work you do directly contributes to equipment designed to save lives.

What you’ll be doing
- Operating barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment
- Preparing metallic surfaces for further processing
- Masking components to protect critical features (bores, holes, slots)
- Carrying out inspection of finished components
- Packing parts for internal transport and storage
- Interpreting part numbers, drawings, process specs and finishing requirements
- Working to strict quality and safety standards
What we’re looking for
- Basic understanding of measuring equipment
- Experience within a precision finishing environment is required, ideally experience with rumbling / tumbling equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Awareness of health & safety and COSHH regulations
- Previous experience within manufacturing or engineering environments
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
