Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor on behalf of a leading construction contractor with a strong pipeline of work across London and the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a diverse range of projects across the commercial, fit-out, education, healthcare, residential and heritage sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving health, safety and environmental standards across multiple live construction sites.

• Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across projects and the wider supply chain.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Support project teams with SHE advice, guidance and best practice.
• Assist in incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Deliver toolbox talks, site briefings and SHE training where required.
• Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with company procedures and legislation.
• Support external audits and inspections.
• Ensure project SHE documentation is maintained and up to date.
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, clients and regulatory bodies.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Health, Safety & Environmental role within construction.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
• CSCS Card.
• Experience carrying out site audits, inspections and investigations.
• Strong understanding of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Experience delivering training and toolbox talks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• IOSH Membership.
• NEBOSH Fire Certificate.
• Temporary Works knowledge.
• Scaffolding Inspection qualification.
• Mental Health First Aid.
• Experience working on major construction or fit-out projects.
