JOB DETAILSYou will take ownership of developing and winning new business opportunities while managing and expanding relationships within an existing portfolio of strategic customers.
Working consultatively, you will uncover customer challenges, position innovative solutions, and drive meaningful commercial outcomes through Apogee’s extensive services portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
• Driving new business acquisition across strategic accounts and target sectors
• Developing and executing sales strategies that deliver sustainable revenue growth
• Managing complex sales cycles from prospecting through to close
• Building trusted relationships with decision-makers and senior stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and expand existing customer partnerships
• Delivering compelling proposals, presentations, and commercial solutions
• Maintaining accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
• Staying informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer priorities
A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break. This role also offers flexibility to work from home, typically two days per week for a five-day working week.
This role can be based out of either our Bristol or Warrington office.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREDTo be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:
• A proven track record in B2B solution sales, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
• Experience owning and closing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (not supporting or inheriting deals)
• Demonstrable ability to originate new business opportunities rather than relying on inbound or existing pipeline
• Strong history of prospecting and self-generating pipeline through structured activity and outreach
• Experience selling consultative or service-led solutions (for example IT, workplace services, managed services, outsourcing, SaaS or similar)
• Ability to confidently engage and influence senior decision-makers, including C-suite and director level stakeholders
• Evidence of building and executing structured sales strategies across accounts or territories
• Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, margin awareness, and deal shaping
• Competence using CRM systems for accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and disciplined sales hygiene
• Consistent ability to produce accurate forecasts and maintain a controlled, visible pipeline
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex propositions into clear business value
• Resilience and self-direction in a target-driven environment, with clear ownership of outcomes
