Sales Manager- North Aberdeenshire (Hybrid working)

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and providing technical support to customers.

The ideal applicant will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the products on offer.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and establish new and existing customer relationships.
  • Identify customer needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Prepare and process quotations and orders.
  • Develop sales plans and strategies to increase sales.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
  • Analyse market trends and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a machine shop or steel sales background.
  • Knowledge of oilfield steel grades advantageous.
  • Strong customer-facing skills.
  • Sales & customer service experience.
  • Clear and confident phone manner.
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize and use your own initiative.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Problem solving & working within a team.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to retain information.
  • Eye for detail.

Salary- circa £50K
