Utilities GE ADMS Expert – SCADA / OMS / DERMS Consultant

We are seeking an experienced GE PowerOn Advantage (PoA) / ADMS Consultant to support a major utilities transformation programme within the electricity distribution sector.

This role is ideal for a hands-on consultant with strong expertise across SCADA, ADMS, OMS, DERMS, OT systems integration, and utility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical expertise across GE PowerOn Advantage (PoA) implementations
• Configure and support SCADA, DMS, OMS and DERMS environments
• Lead solution architecture, system integration, testing and deployment activities
• Support integrations with AMI, GIS, WFM, PI Historian and enterprise applications
• Develop and configure SOAP services, interfaces and automation scripts
• Support OT/IT architecture, replication, server setup and performance optimisation
• Engage stakeholders and provide technical guidance throughout delivery lifecycle

Required Experience

• Strong experience with GE ADMS / PowerOn Advantage
• Expertise in SCADA, OMS, DMS, DERMS and utility operational technologies
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, Shell, Perl or PFL scripting
• Experience configuring SimSCADA, Historian, Proxy and Application Servers
• Strong understanding of electric utility distribution operations
• Experience with Windows & Linux server environments
• Knowledge of OT security standards including NERC CIP
• Background in utility consulting, implementation or systems integration

Desirable

• Experience within electricity distribution or energy utilities
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing skills
• Knowledge of distribution planning, distributed energy and grid operations
