The Role & About the Client
ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor for an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor / Foreman to oversee multiple long-term projects across Hampshire, with the main base in Hedge End.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced professional to take on a key supervisory role managing scaffolding operations across a variety of busy construction sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising scaffold teams, ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations and site requirements. You will work closely with site management and subcontractors to maintain productivity and high standards across multiple projects throughout the contract duration.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Supervise and coordinate scaffolding teams across multiple sites
  • Ensure all scaffold works are completed safely and to specification
  • Carry out toolbox talks and maintain site safety standards
  • Liaise with site management, contractors, and other trades
  • Monitor progress and ensure project deadlines are achieved
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and site organisation
  • Manage materials, resources, and workforce effectively
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure works meet industry standards
The Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:
  • CISRS Gold Advanced Scaffolder Card and/or SSSTS qualification
  • Previous experience working as a Scaffolding Supervisor / Foreman
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding regulations and site safety requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and projects effectively
  • Reliable, hardworking, and professional approach
  • Full PPE and relevant tickets/cards
  • Full UK driving licence preferred due to travel between Hampshire sites
