Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunities Available

Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner)

Astro Education is currently recruiting School Administrators to support a number of welcoming Primary Schools across Cheshire East.

This is a fantastic opportunity for organised, professional, and friendly individuals who enjoy working in a busy environment and want to play a key role in supporting schools, staff, pupils, and parents.

Whether you have previous school administration experience or come from a strong administrative or customer service background, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the school reception and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
• Handling incoming telephone calls and emails
• Maintaining pupil records and updating school databases
• Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
• Assisting with admissions and school communications
• Producing letters, reports, and general correspondence
• Supporting senior leaders and teaching staff with administrative tasks
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed when welcoming visitors to the school

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous administration experience
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, approachable, and reliable
• Experience using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom would be advantageous but is not essential
