School Caretaker - East London - Full Time - Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a busy and supportive school in East London on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with previous site, premises, or caretaker experience who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised school environment.

The school is looking for somebody dependable who can work independently, use their own initiative, and support the smooth day-to-day running of the site.

The Role:

• Opening and securing the school site daily
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring the school premises remain clean, safe, and secure
• Setting up classrooms, halls, and school events when required
• Monitoring health & safety around the site
• Liaising with contractors and school staff
• Reporting maintenance and site issues promptly

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous caretaker, premises, or maintenance experience
• Be reliable, hardworking, and organised
• Be able to work independently and use their own initiative
• Have a good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Be approachable and professional within a school environment
• Be willing to support with the general upkeep of the school site
