School Caretaker

The Education Specialsists are looking for a School Caretakers to work for 2 different schools in Crosby.

Job Description:

• Open and secure school premises as required.
• Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs.
• Monitor heating, lighting, and other building systems.
• Ensure school grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Conduct health and safety checks and report hazards.
• Assist with setting up rooms, furniture, and equipment for school activities.
• Liaise with contractors and support site management tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and maintenance issues promptly.

Hours of work:

7am to 3pm or 10.30am to 6.30pm for one school and the other school will be 7am to 6pm.

Start Date:

29th June 2026 until the end of the school term up to now.

Requirements for the role:

Enhanced DBS covering adults and children on the update service or a willing to get one.
