As our School Chef, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals for students and staff. You will lead the day-to-day operation of the school kitchen, ensuring excellent food standards, compliance with health and safety regulations, and a positive dining experience for all.

• Prepare and cook fresh, healthy meals for students and staff.
• Plan varied and balanced menus that meet nutritional guidelines.
• Manage stock levels, ordering and budget control.
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Supervise and support kitchen staff where required.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and safeguarding procedures.

• Has previous catering or chef experience, ideally within a school, education or large-scale catering environment.
• Holds relevant food hygiene qualifications.
• Is organised, reliable and able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Has a passion for providing healthy, appetising meals for young people.
• Works well as part of a team and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
