🍽️ Job Opportunity: Kitchen Assistants - STAINDROP, DARLINGTON (Agency Work)
Berry Recruitment Darlington is currently registering agency Kitchen assistants and Cleaners to cover temporary roles within schools in Staindrop.

These roles are as-required, ideal for candidates looking to top up their regular hours or seeking flexible part-time work.

🕒 Working Hours:
Typically 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 3:00PM - 5.30PM, depending on the school's requirements.

👨‍🍳 Duties Include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
• Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
• Sanitising touch points and high-traffic areas
• Cleaning windows, doors, and furniture
• Following cleaning schedules and procedures
• Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns

💼 Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Driving licence and own transport preferred but not essential
• Must hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (£18/year)
  - or be willing to pay £59.50 for a new Enhanced DBS
• Completion of online training:
  • Safeguarding
  • Keeping Children Safe in Education

💰 Pay Rate:
£12.71 per hour, paid weekly in arrears via Berry Recruitment
