An East London secondary school are seeking an enthusiastic Science ECT to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Hackney on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a well-structured ECT programme, supported by experienced mentors and a collaborative department.
The Role:
Full-time, permanent Science ECT position starting September 2026
Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5 depending on specialism)
Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire a love of science
Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
Contributing to the wider school community and enrichment opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold (or be on track to achieve) QTS by September 2026
