We are working in partnership with a welcoming and well‑regarded secondary school in Barnet to appoint a Science Teacher on a permanent basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Science specialist to join a supportive department with a strong commitment to high‑quality teaching and learning. The role would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher looking for a long‑term position in a well‑resourced school.
The Role:- Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on specialism)
- Planning and delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons
- Assessing, tracking and supporting student progress
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school and department
- A qualified teacher with QTS (or on track to achieve it)
- A Science specialist (Biology, Chemistry or Physics all welcome)
- Strong classroom management and a genuine enthusiasm for Science
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Permanent contract from September 2026
