Quantum Scholars is currently acting as an agency on behalf of a genuinely welcoming and highly regarded secondary school in High Wycombe that is seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Religious Education (RE) on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3-5
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, implementing strategies to raise attainment and achievement
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the RE curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success
  • Support students' academic, personal, and social development
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities and wider school life
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and achievement


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level, including A-Level, is desirable
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Education
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging lessons and achieve positive student outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence
  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Must be currently based in the UK
