ECT of Business Studies (1 Year Fixed-Term Contract) UET1

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Business Studies to join a thriving secondary setting from September 2026 on a 1-year fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and motivated teacher to begin their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students and helping them achieve strong academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Business Studies to students in Years 7–11
• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
• Assess, monitor and support student progress
• Contribute positively to the wider school community
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve this
• A degree relevant to Business Studies or a related subject
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for teaching and learning
• Commitment to student achievement and wellbeing
