An exciting opportunity has become available for a creative and motivated DT Teacher specialising in Resistant Materials to join a successful secondary school in North West London from September 2026.

The school is seeking a passionate practitioner who can inspire students through practical and engaging learning experiences while maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour. The successful candidate will join a well-equipped department with excellent facilities and a strong commitment to innovation within Design Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Design Technology with a focus on Resistant Materials across KS3 to KS5
• Deliver practical, engaging and differentiated lessons
• Promote creativity, problem-solving and technical skills
• Ensure a safe and effective workshop environment
• Monitor and assess student progress and attainment
• Contribute to curriculum planning and extracurricular activities

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have strong subject knowledge in Resistant Materials
• Be confident teaching practical DT lessons
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Be committed to high standards and student achievement
• Have a passion for creative and technical education
