Section Engineer

Opportunities, inside IR35, are available for skilled Section Engineers, who have progressed from Site Engineering delivering major multimillion infrastructure project for tier one civil engineering contractors.
Previous experience on nuclear, power stations, energy plants or any other major industrial project, would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the setting out and as-built records
- Support the Site engineering team in all of their duties.
- Support the coordination of materials, equipment, and workforce on site
- Deliver clear and timely updates on project progress and performance
- Prepare and manage quality assurance documentation including ITPs, inspections, NCRs, and TQs
- Maintain site diaries and project records
- Assist with weekly planning and performance tracking (KPIs)
- Contribute to safety documentation including RAMS, temporary works briefs, permits, and incident reports
- Oversee weekly commercial reporting including waste management
- Reconcile labour and plant usage
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering (BSc/HND/HNC); working towards MICE or IStructE membership is a plus
- Valid CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- Proficient in BIM systems on large-scale projects
- Recent experience working on major industrial schemes (e.g. power stations, nuclear facilities, oil & gas) with Tier 1 UK contractors
