Salary: Up to £45,000 pa depending on experience + Overtime + Training & Development

About the Company
Our client is a leading home automation specialist delivering cutting edge technology solutions into some of the UK's most prestigious private residences.
Working with ultra high net worth clients, they design and install and configure bespoke smart home systems including home cinemas, intelligent lighting control, automated blinds, multiroom audio, networking, security systems, and integrated home automation solutions.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Intruder Alarm Installer with strong Texecom installation experience to their team.

The Role

This position will focus primarily on the installation and commissioning of Texecom intruder alarm systems within high end residential properties.
You will be working in luxury homes where attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service are just as important as technical ability.
Whilst the role is centred around security installations, there is a genuine opportunity to develop into wider smart home and AV technologies for anyone interested in expanding their skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of Texecom intruder alarm systems
• Running and terminating cables to a high standard
• Fault finding and troubleshooting security systems
• Working closely with project managers and engineers on site
• Maintaining exceptional installation standards within luxury residential environments
• Interacting professionally with clients, contractors, and other trades
• Completing work efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Supporting wider technology installations where required

Requirements
Essential:

• Proven experience installing Texecom intruder alarm systems
• Strong understanding of security system installation practices
• Experience working within residential properties
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional and client facing manner
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience with CCTV, access control, or integrated security systems
• Exposure to smart home, AV, or home automation technologies
• ECS or relevant industry qualifications

Ideal Candidate
This role would suit an experienced Intruder Alarm Installer who enjoys working to exceptionally high standards and takes pride in delivering quality installations.
You may come from a traditional security background but have an interest in developing your knowledge of home automation, smart home technologies, and AV systems. The company is happy to provide training and support for the right individual who wants to broaden their technical expertise.
