This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in delivering structured learning and interventions in a SEN Provision in Huddersfield.

Key Responsibilities of a SEN HLTA

• Deliver learning activities under the direction of the teacher or SENCO
• Provide support for pupils with SEN across the curriculum
• Lead small groups or one-to-one sessions
• Contribute to planning and assessment of pupil progress
• Support behaviour management and promote positive engagement

Person Specification SEN HLTA

• HLTA qualification (or equivalent)
• ECT looking for more SEN classroom experience
• Experience working with SEN pupils in a school or educational setting
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt learning to meet individual pupil needs
• Team player, patient, and proactive
