SEN Learning Support Assistant

SEN Learning Mentor Role.

 Location: Exeter 

Hours: Full time/ Part time

Contract: Temp to Perm

Start date: ASAP

Here at Fox Morris Group, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Mentor, supporting children with special educational needs on a one‑to‑one basis.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident working closely with children who require personalised emotional, behavioural, and academic support, and who is committed to making a positive difference in their daily learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consistent 1:1 support to children with SEN
• Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and engagement with learning
• Implement individual strategies tailored to each child’s needs
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
• Promote a safe, calm, and supportive learning environment

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Patient, reliable, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and time management skills
