Academics are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work within a range of welcoming primary schools across Brighton. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils who require additional support to thrive in the classroom.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
  • Supporting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs
  • Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping create an inclusive and engaging learning environment

We are looking for:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
  • A patient, resilient and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's development
