About the Provision

This specialist day provision supports pupils aged 5-19 who benefit from a quieter, structured setting with a strong therapeutic ethos. Pupils have a range of abilities and may present with ASC, SEMH needs and associated challenges. The provision focuses on personalised learning and pupil‑centred development through:

  • One‑to‑one and small‑group teaching
  • Tailored academic and therapeutic support
  • Enrichment projects, trips and activities that build confidence and broaden experiences
  • A strong focus on emotional wellbeing, supported by consistent routines and positive relationships

Your Role

As Class Teacher, you will:

  • Teach core subjects within a highly personalised curriculum
  • Implement creative projects, trips and enrichment opportunities
  • Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of needs, including behaviours that challenge
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Work closely with a supportive team of LSAs, therapists and senior staff
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative and therapeutic school culture
  • Support pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence

  • Location: Lyndhurst / New Forest
  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Contract: Long‑term or permanent
  • Salary: MPS

What You'll Need

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence (due to location)
  • QTS or relevant UK teaching experience
  • Ability to teach core subjects
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Recent safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
  • References covering the last 24 months

Preferential Experience

  • Experience working with SEND, particularly pupils with behaviours that challenge
  • Experience leading or teaching small groups with evidence of strong progress
  • Experience teaching up to KS4
