About the Provision
This specialist day provision supports pupils aged 5-19 who benefit from a quieter, structured setting with a strong therapeutic ethos. Pupils have a range of abilities and may present with ASC, SEMH needs and associated challenges. The provision focuses on personalised learning and pupil‑centred development through:
- One‑to‑one and small‑group teaching
- Tailored academic and therapeutic support
- Enrichment projects, trips and activities that build confidence and broaden experiences
- A strong focus on emotional wellbeing, supported by consistent routines and positive relationships
Your Role
As Class Teacher, you will:
- Teach core subjects within a highly personalised curriculum
- Implement creative projects, trips and enrichment opportunities
- Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of needs, including behaviours that challenge
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Work closely with a supportive team of LSAs, therapists and senior staff
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative and therapeutic school culture
- Support pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence

- Start Date: September 2026
- Contract: Long‑term or permanent
- Salary: MPS
What You'll Need
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence (due to location)
- QTS or relevant UK teaching experience
- Ability to teach core subjects
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Recent safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
- References covering the last 24 months
Preferential Experience
- Experience working with SEND, particularly pupils with behaviours that challenge
- Experience leading or teaching small groups with evidence of strong progress
- Experience teaching up to KS4
