Smart Education is recruiting an SEN Teacher to support pupils aged 3–19 with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in Wolverhampton.

About the RoleAs an SEN Teacher, you will deliver personalised learning experiences focused on sensory development, communication, and life skills. The successful SEN Teacher will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support pupils with complex educational and care needs.
Job Responsibilities of an SEN TeacherDeliver tailored lessons for pupils with PMLD and SLD
Support sensory development, communication, and life skills
Use communication methods such as PECS and Makaton
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with PMLD and SLD pupils
Knowledge of sensory-based teaching approaches
