Nurture Teacher – SEN School

RH1 | ASAP Start | Full Time

A welcoming and supportive SEN school in RH1 is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurture Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children and young people with a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH, communication difficulties and associated learning needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

The Role:

  • Deliver tailored and engaging lessons to small nurture groups
  • Support pupils with SEMH, Autism and additional learning needs
  • Build positive relationships that promote confidence, regulation and resilience
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families
  • Implement personalised learning and behaviour support strategies
  • Foster a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience working within SEN, nurture or SEMH settings
  • Be patient, resilient and adaptable
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • Be passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their potential
