SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Surbiton)

Full-time | ASAP Start | £95–£114 per day
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

ANZUK Education is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Surbiton to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time position, supporting a Year 3 pupil with Autism on a 1:1 basis, starting ASAP.

The Role

• Provide consistent 1:1 support for a Year 3 child with Autism
• Support learning, engagement and emotional regulation throughout the school day
• Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum both inside and outside of the classroom
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo and wider support staff
• Help create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Working hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting children with Autism or additional needs (school-based or personal experience welcome)
• Calm, patient and empathetic nature
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
• Passionate about supporting children with SEN and making a positive impact
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
