Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive specialist alternative provision in the London Borough of Brent. This full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role involves supporting secondary-aged pupils (11-16) with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside additional needs such as ADHD.

This nurturing school takes a holistic, child-centred approach to education, providing engaging enrichment opportunities that help pupils rediscover themselves, build confidence, and unlock their full potential.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with SEMH and additional needs both in and out of the classroom
• Build positive, trusting relationships that promote engagement and wellbeing
• Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Help pupils develop the skills and confidence needed to achieve success

• The opportunity for the SEN Teaching Assistant position to become permanent following the initial fixed-term contract
