The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
  • Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH
  • Help create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
  • Use effective behaviour management and communication strategies
  • Build strong relationships that promote pupil confidence and progress
The Ideal Candidate The school is seeking someone who:
  • Has previous SEN experience within a primary school setting
  • Is confident supporting children with autism and complex needs
  • Has strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Is patient, resilient, and adaptable
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting children
