Prospero Teaching are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive but challenging SEN school in Ipswich, starting ASAP. This role is ideal for someone with resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs. The school requires a practitioner with some level of SEN experience, as the environment can be demanding but incredibly rewarding.

Location - Ipswich
Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
Start date - ASAP
Full time/part‑time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - ÂŁ90-ÂŁ110 per day (depending on experience)
Hours - 8:30 am - 3:45 pm
đź“š EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with SEN pupils (essential due to the challenging nature of the school)
Relevant training in SEN strategies or behaviour support (desirable)
Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional child‑related references
