🧭 About the Role
Remedy Tutors are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a primary SEN school setting in Peterborough.
This is a morning-only role (3 hours per day), ideal for candidates looking for consistent, part-time work while making a meaningful difference.
🎯 What You'll Be Doing
- Provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assist in delivering engaging, structured learning activities
- Support children with:
- Autism (ASC)
- SEMH needs
- Learning difficulties
- Help manage behaviour and support emotional regulation
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
- Follow EHCP targets and individual support plans
🏫 Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Morning hours (approx. 3 hours per day)
- Based in a primary SEN school in Peterborough
🎓 What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Previous role as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or similar
- Ideally a Teaching Assistant qualification
- 2 years experience in Teaching Assistants
- 2 years SEN Experience
- Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication skills
