SEN Teaching Assistant – EYFS & KS2

Location: Harrow, London
Salary: £85–£100 per day
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Start Date: September 2026

A welcoming and well-respected primary school in Harrow is looking to appoint two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team from September 2026 for the full academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive school environment.

The Roles
EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

Supporting children in Early Years with additional needs including:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• ADHD
• Speech and Language Difficulties
• Behavioural Needs

KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant

Supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 with:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Behavioural and Emotional Needs

You will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop socially and emotionally.

Candidate Requirements:
• Have experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD and ADHD
• Be patient, proactive, and resilient
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
