Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school environment?
A welcoming and inclusive one-form entry primary school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil with Autism. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a childs educational journey while working within a nurturing and community-focused school.
About the Role
• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Reception pupil with Autism.
• Support the childs academic development and engagement with learning.
• Assist the pupil during morning sessions on a part-time timetable.
• Provide general classroom support within Reception during the afternoons.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement effective support strategies.
Requirements
• Previous experience supporting children with Autism and additional needs is essential.
• SEN qualification or relevant training is desirable.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Proactive, energetic and confident approach to supporting young learners.
• Ability to build positive relationships and promote pupil independence.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are reserved for candidates with substantial experience and/or relevant training. Pay is determined in line with school expectations and Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
