SEN Teaching Assistant – West Yorkshire

£93–£105 per day | Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available

Locations: Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Harrogate and surrounding areas.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of specialist settings, including:

  • SEN Schools
  • SEMH & Behaviour Provisions
  • PMLD Settings
  • Residential Care Homes
  • Through Schools (Ages 2–19)

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting with learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Providing personal care where required
  • Working closely with teaching and support staff

Hours: Typically 8:30am–3:30pm (or equivalent)

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
  • Positive, resilient and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
  • Team Teach training desirable
  • Full-time desirable
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable
