Are you an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with strong practice experience, looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Accountant to join our growing accountancy firm in Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including medium-sized companies and consolidated groups, while developing your career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a broad client base. You will take ownership of client relationships, review the work of junior team members, and provide valuable financial and tax guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts for a range of clients.
  • Prepare medium-sized company accounts and consolidated group accounts.
  • Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Advise clients on Corporation Tax, Personal Tax, and related compliance matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
  • Assist clients with accounting software systems and cloud accounting solutions.
  • Present financial information and recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to client businesses.
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
About You Essential Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
  • Experience reviewing and supervising the work of others.
  • Strong experience preparing medium-sized company accounts and consolidated group accounts.
  • Solid understanding of Corporation Tax, Personal Tax, and other key tax matters.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.
