Senior Architect (Residential)

Location:          Clerkenwell, London

Salary:             £50,000 - £60,000 (Dependent upon Experience)

Office: Clerkenwell, London

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Hybrid working available)

Duties

  • Lead the delivery of large-scale, multi-unit residential projects through key RIBA stages, helping turn design concepts into coordinated, buildable packages.
  • Develop layouts, elevations, technical details and design information for residential schemes, balancing design quality with planning, compliance, budget and programme requirements.
  • Coordinate project information across internal teams, consultants, contractors and specialists to ensure drawings, specifications and technical packages are accurate and aligned.
  • Support planning applications, Building Regulations submissions and Building Safety Gateway requirements, particularly where schemes involve complex residential compliance considerations.
  • Attend design team meetings, client workshops and coordination reviews, contributing confidently to discussions around residential layouts, materials, detailing and project delivery.
  • Help manage project documentation, specifications, design risk registers and issue records, ensuring information is controlled, up to date and suitable for each stage of delivery.

Requirements

  • Must be a Degree Qualified and an ARB registered Architect
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience post-Part 3 with a UK based studio
  • Expert Revit experience is essential
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-unit Residential projects in the UK
  • Fully proficient user of AutoCad, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Great client facing and presentation skills
  • Excellent communicator, confident leading projects and supporting teams of Architects and Assistants
