GEIM is a growing global shipping and logistics consultancy helping businesses move goods around the world faster, smarter and more efficiently. We work with importers, exporters, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and e-commerce businesses to deliver tailored shipping solutions that save time, reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.

We are currently seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Business Development Manager to join our growing team.

This is a fully remote, work-from-home position offering flexibility, autonomy and genuine career progression. You will work directly with company leadership and play a key role in helping drive the future growth of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective clients and helping businesses identify more effective shipping and logistics solutions.

The Role

You will focus primarily on new business development across the UK market. This includes identifying potential customers, arranging meetings, understanding client requirements, presenting solutions and converting opportunities into long-term commercial relationships.

You will work closely with business owners, directors and senior decision-makers, helping them overcome shipping challenges and improve efficiency throughout their supply chain operations.

This role would suit an individual who enjoys prospecting, building relationships and creating opportunities rather than simply managing existing accounts.

What We're Looking For

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in business development, sales or commercial roles. Experience within freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, courier services, supply chain, import/export services or e-commerce fulfilment would be highly advantageous.

However, exceptional B2B sales professionals from other industries will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning new business, achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and the ability to work independently are essential.
