The Opportunity

This is a senior, highly autonomous role focused on developing strategic OEM and industrial relationships across Great Britain.

The successful individual will work closely with:OEMs, Machine Builders, Systems Integrators, Engineering Teams and Industrial End Users

to deliver complete integrated drive and automation solutions tailored around customer applications and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow strategic OEM and industrial relationships across Great Britain
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within industrial engineering markets
  • Promote integrated drive systems and engineered automation solutions
  • Work consultatively with customers to understand applications and develop tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and technical support teams
  • Engage with senior engineering and operational stakeholders
  • Develop opportunities across sectors such as Quarrying, Aggregates, Materials Handling, Food & Beverage, Packaging, Manufacturing, Recycling and Process Engineering
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience within Technical Sales, Business Development or OEM Account Management
  • Strong understanding of Drive Systems, Industrial Automation, Motion Control, Mechanical Power Transmission or Systems Integration
  • Experience selling into OEMs, Machine Builders or Industrial End Users
  • A highly consultative and solution-led approach to sales
  • Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building ability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A proactive, ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to communicate confidently at both engineering and management level
