A Senior Buyer position within a technically-led manufacturing environment, taking ownership of supplier relationships, commercial negotiations and material flow. This is a hands-on role with real scope to influence cost, supply chain performance and overall procurement strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop key supplier relationships (UK & international)
• Lead negotiations around cost, quality and delivery
• Ensure continuity of supply across critical materials
• Support NPI / technical projects from a sourcing perspective
• Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
• Work cross-functionally with operations, production and technical teams

Profile

Ideal Candidate

• Currently operating at Buyer / Senior Buyer level within a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable managing suppliers end-to-end, not just placing orders
• Strong on negotiation, cost control and supplier performance
• Experience within a technical, materials-led industry
• Someone who wants more ownership and visibility, not a purely transactional role
