Chartered Building Surveyor – Project & Professional Services (50/50 Split)
Location: Flexible / UK-based with travel

We are working with a leading, partner-led property consultancy to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor into a key position within their expanding team. This is a confidential opportunity offering a balanced mix of project and professional work, with genuine flexibility to shape your career direction over time.

The Role You will initially operate on an approximately 50/50 split between project and professional work, with the opportunity to gradually bias your workload towards your preferred specialism.

The role will include:
Project-led work:
  • Contract administration across refurbishment and maintenance schemes
  • Project management duties from inception through to completion
  • Stakeholder coordination and on-site delivery oversight
Professional services:
  • Technical due diligence (TDD) for acquisitions and disposals
  • Dilapidations (landlord and tenant)
  • Building surveys and defect analysis
  • Schedules of condition and pre-acquisition reporting
You will also have exposure to heritage and listed building projects, offering the chance to develop specialist expertise in a highly regarded and technically interesting area of work.
About You
  • Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent)
  • Strong grounding across both professional and project disciplines
  • Experience in dilapidations, TDD, and contract administration
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with solid technical judgement
  • Interest in heritage or complex assets beneficial
